Reham Khan, the former wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan, will be paid Rs80 million alimony after the couple divorced in November 2015.
A Pakistan news channel quoted a source close to Reham in London as saying that the first installment has already been paid to her and the remaining amount will be paid in due course of time.
It is learnt that the guarantor of the divorce settlement is PTI chairman’s close friend Zulfiqar Bukhari who reached London from Pakistan a day earlier.
There is no official statement on divorce settlement from Reham.
The rumours of alimony were the talk of the town in 2015 when the couple divorced.
On November 8, 2015, Reham denied any financial settlement.
She also rejected allegations that she had received Rs50 million from Aleem Khan and Rs80 million from Faisal Wada.
She also rejected the allegation of physical violence as “not only pure fiction but ludicrous.”
“The allegations of anyone poisoning Imran Khan are not based on fact and no stomach washing was ever carried out,” was another rumours Reham denied in 2015.
