Another Pakistani athlete, Najma Parveen, bowed out of Tokyo Olympics when she finished last in women’s 200 meters heat 2 on Sunday.

Najma, 31, Pakistan’s best female sprinter, disappointed her fans with her timing – 28.12 seconds.

The top Pakistani athlete, who holds the national record of women’s 200m with 23.69, was 2.88 seconds behind the athlete who finished 6th.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica won the heat with the timing of 22.22 seconds. Beatrice Masilingi of Namibia timed 22.63 seconds to come in at number two and Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands finished third clocking 23.13 seconds.
