Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that the daughter of the Afghan ambassador was not abducted but it is an agenda of global conspiracy and Indian agency RAW.
Talking to a private news channel on Sunday night, Sheikh Rashid said that the daughter of the Afghan ambassador first said that they took her mobile phone. Later, she gave the phone to investigators but deleted the data.
He said the investigators have seen CCTV videos in which there are three taxis and not two. She took the third taxi from Daman-i-Koh but did not go home.
The interior minister said that they have examined three CCTV videos. The fourth video is being searched. The girl came out of the house on foot and came from Khada Market and took a taxi. From where she took the third taxi, he added.
Minister Rashid said investigators have all the data of taxi drivers.
According to CCTV footage, she could be seen standing in front of Ghakhar Plaza. She girl went to Daman-i-Koh from Rawalpindi. From Daman-i-Koh she went to F-9 Park. She engaged the fourth taxi from F-9 Park, he continued.
She has been denying that she went to Rawalpindi. She did not call a taxi online, but engaged an ordinary taxi, Rashid added.
The minister said the footage from Rawalpindi Ghakhar Plaza is missing while she used the internet at Daman-i-Koh.
He said that investigators have been in search of a fourth vehicle. They have been trying to find in which vehicle and with whom she came to F-9.
Calling it a “sensitive issue”, Sheikh Rashid said India and an international racket are involved in the incident who have been trying to defame Pakistan.
