South Africa’s Faf du Plessis and Ireland’s Paul Stirling have been signed up as replacements by the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises for the sixth edition.
The teams made replacement picks for the players who have either become fully or partially unavailable due to international cricket commitments.
Paul Stirling has been picked up by two-time champions Islamabad United. Ali Khan also joins United in place of England’s Reece Topley who is not available due to England’s tour of India.
Faf du Plessis will play for Quetta Gladiators after Chris Gayle leaves for international duty. In addition to this Australian Fawad Ahmed, English batsmen Tom Kohler Cadmore have also been drafted.
Tom-Kohler Cadmore will replace Liam Livingstone in Peshawar Zalmi. He has represented Quetta Gladiators in the 2018 edition.
The sixth season of the PSL will be played in Karachi and Lahore from February 22 to March 20.
