The franchise owners are persistent on holding the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the last part of March while Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reluctant due to scheduled tour of South Africa.
Pakistan team is set to depart for South Africa on March 27. The men in green are scheduled to play four T20Is and three one day internationals.
The franchise owners have offered the PCB that they can talk with the Cricket South Africa (CSA) and can convince them to reschedule the tour, according to the sources.
On the other hand, PCB does not want any tensions with the CSA officials and wants the PSL to be played later in September or November. Franchise owners are worried about the international player’s availability at that time.
