Under the Sarfraz Ahmed captaincy, the performance of former champion Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing PSL season has been disappointing so far. As things stand, Quetta Gladiators will have to win all their remaining matches and rely on other results to quakify for the playoffs.
Following the resumption of PSL 6 in Abu Dhabi, Lahore Qalandars impressed everyone with their performance. Lahore Qalandars won two matches in a row while lost their last match to Islamabad United.
T20 specialized cricketers like Ben Dunk, Rashid Khan, Tim David, and James Faulkner have all played a key role in the victories of Lahore Qalandars so far.
Quetta Gladiator will not have the services of dangerous batsman Andre Russell, while the availability of Faf du Plessis in today’s match looks doubtful.
Lahore Qalandars are currently in the second position on the points table with 10 points, while Quetta Gladiators are at the bottom with only two points. Today’s match defeat will knock Quetta out of the tournament.
