In a recent development, doctor of Argentinian star Diego Maradona is being investigated whether there was any negligence during his treatment.
Four days back, Diego Maradona passed away after a fatal heart attack. This raid comes after some witnesses told the police there was a brawl between the football star and Dr Luque.
Dr Luque through a news conference denied the allegations and said: “You want to know what I am responsible for? For having loved him, for having taken care of him, for having extended his life, for having improved it to the end.”
He further said that he did everything in his power to save his friend. Luque also pointed to the fact that there should have been a defibrillator inside the soccer star’s house as well as an ambulance parked outside, but that neither of those failures was up to him.
In the start of November, Maradona had a successful surgery on brain blood clot and was going to be treated for alcohol dependency.
Luque also showed his full support to the investigators in the future.
