The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) have decided to support the resolution to be tabled in the National Assembly seeking the expulsion of the French envoy as demanded by the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, a banned outfit.
According to sources, the PML-N parliamentary party met with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair and decided to attend the assembly session.
Sources said the meeting was attended by Ahsan Iqbal, Maryam Aurangzeb, Tahira Aurangzeb and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. The meeting also decided to support the resolution on the honour of Prophet PBUH.
Meanwhile, the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) has also decided to attend the assembly session and support the resolution on the Prophet PBUH and expulsion of France ambassador.
It is also leant that the opposition alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), will attend the National Assembly session requisitioned by the government and support the resolution.
