Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday decided not to increase the price of petroleum products for the month of May, a statement issued by the ministry of finance said.
In a bid to give relief to the masses in the holy month of Ramzan, the prime minister has decided not to increase the price of petroleum products, the statement added.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority had forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Division seeking an increase by Rs5.75 per litre in petrol price and Rs6 per litre in diesel price.
Therefore, petrol will continue to cost Rs108.56 per litre.
