Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari termed the federal budget 2021-22 as an attack on the economy of the people.

Bilawal said in a statement on Saturday that if there is unprecedented inflation, unemployment and poverty, how can the budget be people friendly?

He said that when PTI was presenting its “anti-people” budget, government employees were staging protest outside the parliament. The time has changed, but the condition of the poor has not changed, he added.

Bilawal said that the masses are aware of Imran Khan’s habit to talk big. The prime minister has completely failed to provide relief to the common man, he maintained.

The PPP chairman said that the budget is a manifestation of Imran Khan’s anti-poor and anti-people agenda, but the PPP will not allow him to carry out economic massacre of the people.
