All 35 members of the Pakistani contingent have tested negative after their fourth round of COVID-19 tests. The team will depart for the South Africa tour via a chartered flight on Friday morning.

Pakistan is due to play three ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League matches and four T20Is. The side will then leave for Zimbabwe where they are scheduled to play three T20Is and two tests.

After the postponement of Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made stringent protocols regarding bio secure bubble and testing. The whole contingent went under four rounds of testing from March 16 to March 25.
