Pakistan now sits at the top position in the table of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 India was thrashed in the third Test match by an innings and 76 runs.
England levelled the five-match series at 1-1 after India’s 151-run win in the second Test at Lord’s.
India 215-2 overnight in their second innings, could not handle the swing and consistent bowling from English pacers and lost eight wickets for 63 runs in 19.3 overs. Ollie Robinson was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged 5-65 and was named man of the match.
With the loss, India dropped down to the third position with a win, loss, and drawn match followed by England at fourth with the same points. England and India have two penalty overs each.
Pakistan won the second Test against West Indies and squared the series 1-1. Now they have a win and a loss and tops the table with one completed series.
