Pakistan registered less than 3000 cases on the second straight day, but this drop can be mainly attributed to a decrease in testing. In the last three days, testing has declined massively from 48,223 to 33,302. Overall, the positivity rate has reached 8.5 percent in the country.

The National Command and Control Centre (NCOC) reported 2,839 new cases while 40 people lost their lives due to this deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

As of November 29, the total active cases in the country are 48,576. Yesterday around 33,302 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 10,081; Punjab: 10,825; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 5,624; Islamabad: 5,149; Balochistan: 477; Gilgit-Baltistan: 350 and Azad Kashmir: 796.

Out of 1,757 vents allocated for COVID-19 in the country, 300 vents are currently occupied. There is no patient on the vent in AJK, GB and Balochistan.

A total of 398,024 cases detected so far (AJK 6855, Balochistan 17158, GB 4649, ICT 30123, KP 47190, Punjab 119035, Sindh 173014)

Till now, Pakistan has conducted 5,508,810 tests. Currently, 2,543 patients are admitted across the country and being treated in 614 COVID-19 facilities in the country.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 8025 deaths.
