In the last 24 hours, 2,710 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Pakistan while 54 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).

As of March 12, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 18,703. Yesterday, 41,133 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 10,377: Punjab: 15,736; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 7,281; Islamabad: 4,084; Balochistan: 366; Gilgit-Baltistan: 413 and Azad Kashmir: 859.

Of the ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients, 241 are occupied across Pakistan. 21% of the reserved ventilators are occupied in Peshawar, 22% in Multan, 33% in Islamabad, and 39% in Lahore. No patients are on ventilators in Balochistan, AJK, and GB.

A total of 600,198 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 10,816; Balochistan: 19,171; GB: 4,959; ICT: 46,963, KPK: 75,052; Punjab: 182,576 and Sindh: 260,661.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 13,430 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 5,689 casualties followed by Sindh: 4,452; KPK: 2,138; Islamabad: 520; Balochistan: 202; GB: 103 and AJK: 317.

631 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,170 patients being treated. Till now, Pakistan has conducted 9,402,639 tests.
