On Wednesday, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Armed Forces of Pakistan with the support of this nation are fully prepared to vanquish threats in all domains, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The COAS expressed these sentiments after watching the field exercise during his visit to Gujranwala along with Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

The army chief praised the professional competence of the Army Air Defence and showed complete confidence on their operational readiness.

“There is a need for greater cooperation, integration and synchronisation to tackle complex and fluid battlefield challenges that lie ahead,” he emphasised.

The objective of the exercise was to further improve coordination among ground forces and Air Defence elements which include fighter jets, helicopters and drones.
