Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has denied that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) issued a show-cause notice to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday, Abbasi said the PDM has just sought an explanation from the PPP for betraying the trust of the componenet parties of the alliance.

The PDM had issued show cause notices to the PPP and ANP for seeking votes from the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) in the election of leader of the opposition in the Senate.

Abbasi alleged that the ruling PTI members are involved in corruption, he claimed.

The PML-N leader criticised the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and said it required self-accountability.

He claimed that the NAB was established to suppress the opposition and that political system in the country is being pressurised.

Abbasi said that inflation and unemployment have been rising while the government is fighting coronavirus with help of donations.

Not a single country has allowed commercial import of the vaccine but Pakistan, he added.
