The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has raised electricity tariff.
According to a notification issued by NEPRA on Wednesday, the price of electricity has been increased by 64 paisas per unit.
The notification said the tariff was raised to adjust fuel price for the month of February.
It said the increased rates would be charged to consumers in April bills and would not apply to domestic consumers using up to 50 units of electricity per month.
According to the notification, the decision will not apply to K Electric customers.
