LAHORE: Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, President of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), inquired about the health of Mehrunnisa Safdar, the eldest daughter of the PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and the granddaughter of Nawaz Sharif.
Mehrunnisa Safdar suffered a road accident on Sunday and resultantly sustained head injuries. According to the PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, she was immediately shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is now stable.
Mehrunnisa is out of danger and is currently under treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sharif Medical City.
As of now, Maryam Nawaz cancelled her trip to Karachi ahead of the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s rally in Hyderabad on February 9.
