Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has expressed anger on the news of a deal with the PTI-led government and categorically denied it.
Maryam was talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday.
When asked about the deal by a journalist, she expressed her anger and said that “it is your imagination. Why there will be a deal and with whom?” she questioned.
She said the PML-N would be crazy to strike a deal with them [the government]. After rendering sacrifices and fighting against them, “are we mad that we will make a deal.”
Replying to a question, Maryam Nawaz said that it seemed that the government was ready to recognise Israel. If this is a rumour, why the government has not yet denied it, she added.
“If you are going to recognise Israel, tell the nation of your decision. You cannot take such a decision alone, it is not your personal decision, it is a decision of 220 million people,” she said.
She claimed that the members of PTI have been at loggerheads with each other. The next elections will reveal the inside story of the ruling party.
Maryam predicted that the PTI will never come into power again.
The PML-N vice president said that let the people chose their leader. The entire nation has been suffering by the selection of Imran Khan, she concluded.
