ISLAMABAD: The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been increased across the country.
According to LPG Dealers Association chairman Irfan Khokhar, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs20 per kg, after which the price has gone up to Rs110 per kg.
He said that domestic cylinders have been increased by Rs. 200 and commercial cylinders by Rs. 900.
He said that the recent increase was due to a low supply of LPG by land while prices would go up further in the next 24 hours.
Irfan Khokhar appealed to the Ministry of Petroleum to review its policies.
He said that an emergency meeting has been called in Lahore tomorrow in which important decisions are expected, the association may also go on strike.
