Saeed Ghani, Sindh’s Education Minister has said that it is very unlikely that educational institutions will reopen in January.
In the last 24 hours, 2142 people tested positive for COVID-19 while 84 people passed away, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).
In November, due to a rise in COVID-19 cases NCOC ordered to close all educational institutions.
Ghani further said that this year students will not be promoted without exams and government is making plans how to conduct examinations during the pandemic.
