ISLAMABAD: Economic Affairs Division Secretary Noor Ahmed has been transferred from his current position and has been appointed as the Asian Development Bank alternative executive director.
Noor Ahmed will be the alternate executive director of ADB’s board of directors for four years. The Establishment Division issued the notification detailing the transfer of the grade-22 officer.
Previously, Noor Ahmed served in Prime Minister’s Office as joint secretary of economy. During the course of his service, he occupied different and important positions like; chief of the Federal Board of Revenue, privatization commission director-general and deputy director of public procurement regulatory authority. He is extensively trained in economic policy, financial management and public sector enterprise restructuring and rehabilitation.
