Chief of his own faction of Muslim League, Nawaz Sharif, has lent his voice to the claim of his daughter that Daska by-election had been rigged and said the “ECP press release on the issue is an open FIR against the “selected/selectors”.

Living in London for more than year on medical grounds, the former prime minister took to Twitter to vent his anger. His message says that the nation has rejected Daska by-election results as it did in 2018.”

He wrote that the nation rejects the disappearance of the presiding officers in Daska and a miraculous turnout of 90 percent in specific polling stations instead of 30 percent like it had rejected the malfunctioning of RTS (result transmission system) in the 2018 elections.

He demanded stringent punishment for those involved in this “dastardly act.”
