The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the procedure and health requirements to issue Umrah prayer and visit permits during the month of Ramzan.
In a post on Twitter, the ministry stated that in order to issue a permit, the visitor’s health condition must be “immune”. Visitors must have completed the doses of the vaccine or spent 14 days after taking the first dose of the vaccine. Or, the post read, the prospective visitor should have recovered from COVID-19.
Saudi Arabia has reported over 393,000 coronavirus infections and 6,700 deaths from COVID-19.
