In the last 24 hours, Pakistan recorded 44 fatalities due to COVID-19 while 1052 people tested positive, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Sindh followed by Punjab.
As of June 25, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 32,921. On Sunday, 45,924 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 13,223; Punjab: 17,278; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 10,412; Islamabad(ICT): 3,118; Balochistan: 839; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 473 and Azad Kashmir (AJK): 581.
Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 267 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in AJK, GB, and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 952,907 recoveries.
A total of 952,907 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 21,121; Balochistan: 26,893; GB: 5,908; ICT: 82,502, KP: 137,484; Punjab: 345,546 and Sindh: 334,453.
Till now, Pakistan has recorded 22,152 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 10,700 casualties followed by Sindh: 5,392 KP: 4,290; Islamabad: 775; Balochistan: 304; GB: 111 and AJK: 576.
639 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,415 patients being treated across the country. A total of 14,148,424 tests have been conducted so far in the country since the pandemic started.
