ISLAMABAD: During the last 24 hours, the highest number of deaths occurred in Sindh followed by Punjab. Out of 57 deaths during the last 24 hours, 28 died on ventilators, as per the data by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
1,194 people tested positive for COVID-19 on 11 June, whereas, 57 people lost lives due to covid during the last 24 hours — 53 died in hospital and 4 out-of-hospital.
42 per cent of the ventilators in Multan are currently occupied, 25 per cent in Lahore, followed by Bahawalpur on 22 per cent and 21 per cent in Peshawar.
30 per cent of oxygen beds are occupied in Gilgit, 28 per cent in Karachi and Multan, and 26 per cent in Swat.
The total active cases of COVID-19 in Pakistan are 42,717 as of 12 June.
Out of the 35,695 tests conducted on 11 June, 11,458 were conducted in Sindh. Punjab conducted 9,657 tests, KP conducted 10,081 tests. ICT’s number of tests stood at 2,582, Balochistan had 886 tests, GB conducted 364, while the number stood at 667 for AJK.
875,581 People recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count. There is no patient on a ventilator in Balochistan, AJK and GB.

Out of the total 21,633 COVID-19 deaths, Sindh had 5,220 (22 died in hospital and 2 died out-of-hospital on 11 June), Punjab had 10,479 (20 died in hospital and 2 died out-of-hospital on 11 June), KP had 4,203 (9 died in hospital on 11 June), the number for ICT stood at 769 (with no death on 11 June), similarly, Balochistan and GB have seen 292 and 108 casualties (with no death on 11 June). AJK had 562 deaths (2 died in hospital on 11 Jun)
