In the last 24 hours, Pakistan recorded 34 deaths while 1,019 people tested positive for COVID-19, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Punjab followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
As of June 14, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 41,726. On Monday, 39,214 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 12,825; Punjab: 12,008; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 9,250; Islamabad(ICT): 3,486; Balochistan: 893; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 361 and Azad Kashmir (AJK): 391.
Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 322 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in AJK, GB, and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 878,740 recoveries.
A total of 942,189 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 19,783; Balochistan: 26,232; GB: 5,712; ICT: 82,139, KP: 136,074; Punjab: 344,065 and Sindh: 328,184.
Till now, Pakistan has recorded 21,723 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 10,516 casualties followed by Sindh: 5,243 KP: 4,224; Islamabad: 772; Balochistan: 294; GB: 108 and AJK: 566
639 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,926 patients being treated across the country. A total of 13,818,039 tests have been conducted so far in the country since the pandemic started.
