In the last 24 hours, Pakistan recorded 102 deaths while 4,004 people tested positive for COVID-19, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC). The number of critical patients in the country has reached 3,769. Most casualties were seen in the province of Punjab followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

As of April 7, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 64,373. Yesterday, 41,699 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 6,778; Punjab:17,290; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP):8,019; Islamabad(ICT):6,722; Balochistan:1,301; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB):411 and Azad Kashmir(AJK):1,178.

Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 443 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in GB, and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 620,789 recoveries.

A total of 700,188 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 13,713; Balochistan:19942; GB:5,064; ICT:62,775, KPK:93,862; Punjab:237,594 and Sindh:267,238.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 15,026 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 6,731 casualties followed by Sindh:4,516; KPK:2,496; Islamabad: 588; Balochistan: 212; GB: 103 and AJK: 380.

631 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 4,529 patients being treated across the country. A total of 10,535,061 tests have been conducted so far.
