A Chinese liquor company, Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery Limited, has been allowed to manufacture a plant in Pakistan to produce alcohol, reported a local newspaper.
The company was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on April 30 last year. It is based in Hub, Lasbela, Balochistan. According to the SECP, the CEO of the company is a Chinese citizen named Bo Wang. Liu Xihui, Nida Noman, and Noman Ali Khan are listed as its directors.
The brewery has been issued a licence by Balochistan’s Excise, Taxation and Anti-Narcotics Department as well. According to the report, the distillery has planned to introduce its famous products in Pakistan for export.
The entire process, from manufacturing to packaging, will be carried out at its plant in Lasbela.
