In an address following the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting on COVID-19 on Monday Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government has decided that all political gatherings are banned due to the pandemic.
The premier further said that all marriage ceremonies will be capped at 300 people; restaurants have not to be closed right now but outer seating preferred.
Imran Khan said that the situation regarding coronavirus infections in schools and universities will be monitored for another week before making a final decision. The committee will consider extending winter vacations incase if the disease spreads rapidly, he added.
