Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan has turned 69 today (Tuesday).
A huge number of people went to social media to wish Prime Minister Imran Khan a happy birthday. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram were all abuzz with greetings for the prime minister and #HappyBirthdayPMIK quickly became one of the country’s most popular hashtags.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a post showcasing the premier’s outstanding achievements throughout his time as a player, noting the milestones he broke.
The PCB wrote on Twitter: “3,807 runs and 362 wickets in Tests, 3,709 runs and 182 wickets in ODIs, the third leading wicket-taker for Pakistan in Tests.”

Imran Khan is the 22nd Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the leader of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, and a former World Cup-winning captain of the Pakistan cricket team.
PM Imran Khan was born in Lahore on October 5, 1952. He received his elementary education in Lahore before continuing his studies in the United Kingdom (UK), where he graduated from the University of Oxford.
He also runs many philanthropic organizations with branches in a number of countries, including the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Pakistan.
At the age of 16, he made his first-class cricket debut in Lahore. Apart from his ascension to Pakistan’s most important position a year ago, his biggest achievement occurred in 1992, when he led Pakistan to victory in the One-Day International Cricket World Cup in Australia.
On April 25, 1996, he officially formed his own political party, the PTI. His party grew in popularity, particularly among Pakistan’s youth, and in 2013 elections, he was able to establish a provincial administration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PTI took control in the federal government in July 2018, and on August 17, 2018, he was elected Pakistan’s 22nd Prime Minister.
