Comedian Umer Sharif left for the United States (US) on Tuesday to seek medical treatment.
The actor left by an air ambulance after his immigration was completed at the airport.
Earlier, hospital sources said his health improved slightly.
A team of foreign doctors had a check-up of the comedian at a private hospital before his departure and interacted with him.
His family said that the doctors’ team had declared him fit for air travel.
Umer Sharif also held a telephonic conversation with his physician Dr Tariq Shahab in the US.
Meanwhile, talking to journalists, his son Jawad had said that his condition is a little better as compared to yesterday.
Umer Sharif was shifted to the ICU of a private hospital on Monday after his health deteriorated.
Jawad said doctors had decided to keep him under observation for 24 hours.
PRAY FOR OMER: The wife of actor Omar Sharif, Zarin, has appealed to his fans to pray for his early recovery.
Zarin released a video message from the air ambulance just before departure for America in which she said it was due to their prayers that Umer is being taken to the United States.
Keep praying for his complete recovery, she requested Umer’s fans.
