LAHORE: The provincial capital went on high alert on Christmas to counter any possible security threats.
According to the Punjab Department of Interior, the city’s churches has been divided into three categories seeking security, with 69 churches being declared high-priority among the 500 churches in the city.
CCPO Lahore’s office confirmed 3000 policemen have been deployed across the city to protect Christmas celebrations
CCPO Lahore also assigned 34 DSPs to monitor security at various churches.
