A former Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent has admitted that India is involved in subversive activities in Pakistan.

Ex-agent named Daniel spoke at length about his mission to explode a bomb in Pakistan in an interview to Indian news channel Pro Punjab TV.

India has vehemently been denying that it is involved in subversive activities in Pakistan, but its agents belie its claims.

Daniel told the interviewer that he spied on Pakistan in the 1990s and was caught by security forces. He spent four years in Pakistani prisons.

He admitted that India frequently sends spies over into Pakistani territory to carry out subversive activities while the neighbour does not do so.

Daniel said that another Indian spy, Raju, is at present in Pakistan.

The former RAW operative said that when he returned to India after serving his term in jail, he was given a meager Rs15,000 and fired from service.

Daniel praised the people of Pakistan.

RAW TACTICS: Daniel’s admission accentuated Pakistan army’s public relations chief Major General Babar Iftikhar who had exposed Indian RAW’s tactics about a year ago.

The ISPR director general had revealed that the Indian intelligence agency RAW had paid Rs10 million to terrorists for carrying out suicide attacks in Pakistan.

Major General Babar Iftikhar had said at a press conference with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi that India had raised a militia of 700 men to undertake terrorist activities in Balochistan.

“A commission comprising 24 members was created, which included 10 RAW operatives. A sum of $60 million was dedicated for this force.”

He had said that the Indian embassy also had regularly been paying handsome amounts to sub-nationalists in the garb of humanitarian assistance.

Foreign Minister Qureshi said that “the world knows that when Pakistan was busy partnering in the peace process, India was laying a web of terrorism around us.”

“India is allowing its land to be used against Pakistan for terrorism,” Qureshi had said.

“We have information and evidence that India is promoting terrorism and has developed a plan to destabilise Pakistan,” he concluded.
