Fawad Chaudhary, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology has said that safety of COVID-19 vaccine is of paramount importance and no compromise will be done on the quality.
The minister tweeted about this on Thursday that this matter was discussed in the first cabinet committee meeting for procuring vaccine.
Fawad Chaudhry said, “The import of the vaccine is a complex and important matter. The committee’s target is to procure the vaccine as soon as possible and at a low price.”
On the other hand, Pakistan recorded 111 deaths, its highest single-day tally during the second wave. Furthermore, 2256 people tested positive for COVID-19, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC)
