Positivity rate in Pakistan fell further on Sunday with 3,153 more coronavirus infections during the last 24 hours.
According to National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) data, the country’s COVID-19 positivity rate now stands at 5.45 percent – it remained below 6 percent for the second straight day.
With 3,153 new infections, the nationwide tally of confirmed cases soared to 1,204,520.
According to the NCOC, 57,792 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, of which 3,153 returned positive.Meanwhile, the coronavirus claimed 58 more lives during the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s overall death toll to 26,720.
The addition of 3,797 new recoveries overnight has pushed the total number of recoveries to 1,086,785 people, while the total number of active cases in the country stand at 91,015.
