Toronto Police, in a statement released on Twitter today, shared that no foul play has been detected surrounding the death of Pakistani activist Karima Baloch. Baloch, 37, was found dead in Toronto, Canada on Monday after having gone missing the day before.
“The circumstances have been investigated and officers have determined this to be a non-criminal death and no foul play is suspected,” the Toronto Police has stated.
Earlier, the Pakistan High Commission in Canada had requested Canadian authorities to officially probe into the cause of Baloch’s demise.
