Pakistan’s trade deficit in July 2021 was recorded at $3.104 billion compared to a deficit of $3.624 billion from June 2021 showing an improvement of 14.35%.

Compared to last year, the trade numbers have deteriorated by 85.53%. The Exports decreased by 14.59 percent to USD 2.33 billion compared to USD 2.728 billion in June 2021.

However, compared to July 2020 exports increased by 16.44 percent.

Imports in July 2021 decreased by 14.45 percent, clocking in at USD 5.434 billion compared to USD 6.352 billion in June 2021 while they increased by 47.9 percent when compared to July 2020.
