Moeed Yusuf the National Security Adviser (NSA) said that the Pak-US relations were moving in the right direction.
He met with important US officials and his United States Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. He labelled the visit as constructive.
Moeed claimed that this time there weren’t any secret arrangements made and clarified that Pakistan would not be extending its bases to the US.
The NSA said that this was the time for political action, and he looked forward to the US’s role in Afghanistan.
The US has been trying to negotiate with Pakistan to let it operate the Afghan politics from its bases. Requests have been blatantly put down by Pakistan’s government.
