In the last 24 hours, 3,752 people tested positive for COVID-19 while 32 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Sindh followed by Punjab.

As of July 26, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 57,799. On Thursday, 49,947 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 18,122; Punjab: 17,751; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 8,311 Islamabad(ICT): 2,383; Balochistan: 1,727; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 740 and Azad Kashmir (AJK): 913.

Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 277 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in GB and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 927,599 recoveries.

A total of 1,008,446 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 23,093; Balochistan: 29,571; GB: 7,747; ICT: 85,780, KP: 141,925; Punjab: 353,238 and Sindh: 367,092.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 23,048 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 10,944 casualties followed by Sindh: 5,833 KP: 4,420; Islamabad: 793; Balochistan: 325; GB: 123 and AJK: 610.

639 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 3,045 patients being treated across the country. A total of 15,717,061 tests have been conducted so far in the country since the pandemic started.
