ISLAMABAD SCHOOLS TO OPEN TWICE A WEEK
On Friday, private schools in Islamabad were given permission to resume classes twice a week from June 7. All classes up to Intermediate will resume in a staggered manner, according to a notification released by the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority on Friday.
The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday allowed the reopening of schools from May 24 in districts where COVID-19 positivity ratio is less than 5 per cent.
The NCOC had also eased other restrictions, such as it lifted the ban on tourism and allowed outdoor weddings and dining in the wake of a slight decrease in infections.
