In the last 24 hours, Pakistan reported 2,379 COVID-19 infections according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
Furthermore, 78 people lost their lives taking the total death count to 19,543. The positivity ratio in the country was recorded at 7.82 per cent.
Yesterday, 30,402 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours out of which 2,379 tests returned positive.
Since the start of the pandemic, Sindh has reported 298,078 cases; Punjab: 325,662; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 126,786: Islamabad: 79,123; Balochistan: 23,831, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK):18,231, and Gilgit Baltistan (GB): 5,418.
