Murad Ali Shah, Sindh’s Chief Minister, stressed on the importance of a complete lockdown in the wake of COVID-19’s massive third wave.
Addressing the media in the capital city, the Chief Minister said, “I have antibodies yet I am still afraid of corona.”
Referring to partial lockdown, Murad Ali Shah termed smart lockdowns as “nothing”.
“Do a lockdown or don’t do it, smart lockdown is nothing,” he said.
In the last 24 hours, 4757 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Pakistan while 78 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC). Punjab recorded over 2,000 COVID-19 cases for seven days straight, with 2,698 cases today.
