In the last 24 hours, 3262 people tested positive for COVD-19 while 55 people lost their lives according to the latest statistics shared by the National Command and Control Centre. The positivity ratio in the country has surged to 8.1 percent.
As of December 4, the total active cases in Pakistan are 51,507. Yesterday, around 44,627 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 13,339; Punjab: 18,262; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 5,455; Islamabad: 5,805; Balochistan: 540; Gilgit Baltistan: 403 and Azad Kashmir: 823
Out of 1751 vents allocated for COVID-19 in the country, 331 vents are currently occupied. There is no patient on the vent in Balochistan.
350,305 People recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count.
A total of 410,072 cases have been detected so far (AJK 7151, Balochistan 17333, GB 4692, ICT 31639, KP 48264, Punjab 121753, Sindh 179240)
Till now, Pakistan has conducted 5,672,116 tests. Currently, 2,932 patients are being treated in 617 COVID-19 facilities in the country.
Total deaths in the country due to virus now stand at 8260.
