In the last 24 hours, 1,329 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Pakistan while 38 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Punjab followed by Sindh.
As of February 21, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 24,446. Yesterday, 41,395 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 11,399: Punjab: 15,103; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 7,191; Islamabad: 5,779; Balochistan: 732; Gilgit-Baltistan: 410 and Azad Kashmir: 781.
Of the ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients, 252 are occupied across Pakistan. 26% of the reserved ventilators are occupied in Peshawar, 27% in Multan, 35% in Islamabad, and 38% in Lahore. No patients are on ventilators in Balochistan, AJK, and GB.
Of the allotted oxygen beds, 61% are occupied in Gujrat, 23% in Mirpur, 35% in Peshawar, and 24% in Lahore.A total of 564,077 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 9,487; Balochistan: 18,942; GB: 4,940; ICT: 42,688, KPK: 69,990; Punjab: 164,268 and Sindh: 253,762.

631 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,053 patients being treated. Till now, Pakistan has conducted 8,686,242 tests.
