In the last 24 hours, 1,048 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Pakistan while 26 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).
As of February 11, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 25,747. Yesterday, 32,019 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 9,252: Punjab: 11,541; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6,246; Islamabad: 3,757; Balochistan: 390; Gilgit-Baltistan: 348 and Azad Kashmir: 485.
Of the ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients, 260 are occupied across Pakistan. 26% of the reserved ventilators are occupied in Peshawar, 37% in Multan, 30% in Islamabad, and 37% in Lahore. No patients are on ventilators in Balochistan, AJK, and GB. Of the allotted oxygen beds, 61% are occupied in Gujrat, 23% in Multan, 41% in Peshawar, and 21% in Lahore.
A total of 564,077 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 9,487; Balochistan: 18,942; GB: 4,940; ICT: 42,688, KPK: 69,990; Punjab: 164,268 and Sindh: 253,762.
Till now, Pakistan has recorded 12,333 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 5,051 casualties followed by Sindh: 4,219; KPK: 1,995; Islamabad: 486; Balochistan: 199; GB: 102 and AJK: 281.
631 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,115 patients being treated. Till now, Pakistan has conducted 8,466,177 tests.
