QUETTA: On Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Quetta after the Hazara community had buried the 11 slain miners.
The Prime Minister met with the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Jam Kamal Khan respectively. Accompanying the Premier on the trip were the Federal Interior Minister Shiekh Rasheed, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Zulfi Bukhari, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri, and others.
Late Friday night, the Hazara community decided to bury the dead and sit-ins and protests all around the country ended.
The Premier also met with top officials in Balochistan, discussing the security situation in the province and also the circumstances that led to and arose after the Mach killings. Commander of Southern Command Lt General Sarfaraz Ali was also present during the meeting.
