Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar, who also heads the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), has announced starting walk-in vaccination for the people between age 60 and 64 years from tomorrow (Sunday).

In a message on twitter, he said all those 60 and above who are registered go to your vaccination center and get vaccinated.

“Starting tomorrow, Sunday, walk in vaccination for those who are between 60 to 64 years old will be started. Walk in for 65 and above has already been open. All those 60 and above who are registered go to your vaccination center and get vaccinated. Vaccination open on Sunday also,” Asad tweeted.

Earlier, Asad had said authorities were struggling to maintain the much-needed supply of oxygen to hospitals across Pakistan for coronavirus patients, as the number of cases soars.

“We have reached 90 percent capacity of oxygen supplies and a big chunk of it is being used to treat patients with coronavirus infection,” he added.
